Sci-Fi Crossover 2001 "Asteroid Chase"
Once again, all your favorite starships
from movies and TV are thrown together in the Sci-Fi Crossover Universe do
do battle. In 2001, the Centennial Osprey is hiding in an asteroid
field after taking damage to her communications equipment. 2 fleets
converge to be the first ones to find and recover this tramp freighter.

The GenCon 2001 Results:
The fighters did the searching of the asteroids, but when the Osprey showed up, it lead to a huge dogfight and the dice ruled. Not enough large ships blowing each other up. It was too dominated by the fighters.

Some nice maneuvering on the part of the White Star, right behind the Star Destroyer with their Heavy Beam fully charged......to bad the fighters took it out before it could fire. |

And here is the last dogfight with all the fighter groups attacking and screening all pared up and in line awaiting their turn to be resolved. |
